This is a fantastic opportunity to progress in your engineering career. As an RF Engineer, you’ll work with international allies, developing technologies and principles to keep naval platforms operating in hostile and sometimes contested environments. You’ll be advising colleagues in the military and defence procurement about maritime radar countermeasure issues.
You’ll need to be able to develop and build strong relationships with industry and international partners and work collaboratively when approaching research to optimise our innovation. You’ll also provide technical leadership to a diverse project team, recognising and utilising their specialist skills in modelling and simulation, trials delivery, threat knowledge and more.
As a leader within this field, you’ll have previous experience in supporting research activities and the delivery and management of engineering projects in RF, radar or radar countermeasures. You’ll be able to plan effectively, and importantly, communicate complex ideas to colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
