Early Careers Coordinator

Would you like to be part of a team that won the QA Award for Macro Employer of the Year in 2020 for Apprenticeships, providing specialist quality and funding administrative support to the Early Careers & Skills programmes across the UK? We currently have a vacancy for an Early Careers Coordinator at our site in Samlesbury

As an Early Careers Coordinator, you will assist the early careers leader in ensuring that early careers programme performance is managed and monitored in line with KPIs, business objectives and regulatory body requirements as well as providing general administrative support to the Early Careers & Skills delivery teams and Management

This role will provide you with the opportunity to work within an ever changing, key part of the business and assist with the development of the next era of BAE Systems

Your main responsibilities as an Early Career Coordinator will involve:

Co-ordinating learner registrations, progress monitoring, certifications activity and internal / external meetings, supporting with learner time keeping and attendance

Analysing and updating Management Information Systems (Yeti, BKSB, Learning Assistant and Canvas) and compile reports to support the Early Careers & Skills delivery programmes

Meeting the demands of internal/ external quality monitoring and compliance standards as set by the Development Lead

Undertaking learner walk observations and centrally collate and monitor all observation findings, identifying key themes and areas of development

Conducting Learner Progress Reviews as required - utilising evidence from Skills Coaches and Behavioural Matrix providing Inclusive Learning and Safeguarding Support for apprentices as required

Supporting with End Point Assessment Activity including making reservations, uploading evidence and distributing correspondence for the relevant Skills Coach / Development Leads.

Providing Basic Key Skills Builder (BSKB) support by carrying out registration activity and monitoring initial and diagnostic assessment results, providing reports to delivery teams as required

Your skills and qualifications as an Early Careers Coordinator:

Essential:

Experience of training / education environment

Knowledge & experience of apprenticeships

Knowledge & experience of regulatory body requirements (Ofsted, ESFA, Awarding Organisations)

Competent in using Management Information Systems

Competent in use of Microsoft Office


Desirable:

Previous experience of safeguarding and inclusive learning

Level 3 teaching / training qualification or equivalent

End Point Assessment knowledge and experience

You will have excellent communication and relationship building skills when dealing with both internal customers and external suppliers across BAE Systems apprenticeships, skills and graduate programmes across the UK. You will collaborate effectively to ensure that deadlines and regulatory requirements are fully met.

Salary: £24000
