Stantec have an opportunity for a Database Administrator or Oracle Data Integration Middleware DBA to join our Business Intelligence Solutions Team to support the development and maintenance of our Oracle DW/BI application. This role can be based in Warrington or within proximity to any of our other offices nationwide.

Day to day, you will Install and support all different components of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) including WebLogic, Oracle Business Intelligence Applications (OBIA) Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and related Oracle 11g Databases.  You will apply Oracle Patch Set Updates for OBIEE, ODI, OBIA and OPSS as required and participate in Oracle Business Intelligence software upgrades

You will monitor performance and tune all OBIEE components. Develop processes for reporting on OBIEE platform’s utilization, availability and performance. You will provide on-call ETL support  - investigate ETL Process failures and/or OBIEE application servers, remediate known issues and apply workarounds based on supporting on-call documentation

About You

You will ideally have a university degree in computer systems design or computer science, and experience with infrastructure operations and database technologies. You will be a motivated individual with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment and have the following:

• Experience providing Oracle Data Warehouse database administration, support using Oracle Data Integrator is preferable.
• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux is mandatory
• Experience in Oracle WLST is mandatory
• Familiarity with OAM/OID and Oracle SSO are definite assets
• Experience with partitioning, materialized views and parallel execution is considered desirable
• Experience with WebLogic Diagnostic Image Framework (WLDF) is nice to have
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager will be considered an asset.
