NPS Property Consultants is an award winning multi-disciplinary property consultancy, committed to delivering innovation and sustainability to our clients. We have a varied client base across multiple areas in the UK and have particular expertise within the design and management of construction projects within the public sector including education.

We are able to offer a multi-disciplined approach to project delivery and are currently looking to recruit into our Electrical Engineering team. We are in a position to consider Electrical Engineers with varying levels of experience, providing both a platform for continued development and exciting project opportunities to all design professionals

You will benefit from being supported by a range of property consulting professionals, and contribute design, specification and project management expertise for electrical services installations across new build and refurbishment/remodelling projects.  Team work is an essential part of this role.

One of our key commitments is sustainability, challenging you to produce innovative designs that promote the use of renewable technologies. Our collaborative project approach will mean you will benefit from having the responsibility to lead discipline specific design tasks, as well as be part of large design teams on multi-disciplinary projects.

Your Experience

We are open to varying levels of experience within the industry, and therefore are looking for you to demonstrate a relevant level of;

  • Experience working within an electrical engineering team, providing designs and specifications for electrical services installations
  • Experience of surveying existing installations for condition or extension.
  • Knowledge of relevant current national standards and statutory legislation for electrical building services.
  • Experience of use of design software; examples include Amtech, DiaLux, RELUX. AutoCAD, REVIT
  • Already attained, or working towards relevant industry membership, including; Institute of Engineering and Technology IET or the Chartered Institution of Building Service Engineers (CIBSE)
  • Already registered, or working towards registration at an appropriate level with the Engineering Council (UK)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with and manage internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • A passion for sustainable designs, with the ability to balance this against commercial viability
