The Bottle Yard Studios (TBYS) is a successful Film and Television Studio facility in South Bristol. Owned and operated by Bristol City Council, the 7 acre site comprises 8 film studios along with supporting production offices and ancillary workshops, stores and light industrial accommodation.

As the business expands, we are seeking an experienced electrician to join our small but skilled Studios Management Team.

Reporting to the Buildings Manager you will:

  • Respond to day-to-day electrical issues around the site
  • Install new and make alterations to existing electrical systems of varying scales
  • Complete Planned Preventative and Compliance tasks within set timeframes and carry out alteration works as required
  • Crucially, provide TBYS clients with knowledge and assistance with design and installation of their temporary electrical systems within the studios, including monitoring of these systems once built.

Company

As one of the country’s largest core cities, Bristol is a vibrant, historic and multi-cultural city. Its harbour has existed as long as the city has, with its 19th Century ‘floating harbour’ being a feat of engineering and home to Isambard Kingdom Brunel. From its inception and far into its future, high quality engineering is critically important to safeguarding and helping grow the city.
