Salary: £31,983 - £44,719 DOE

Dstl has an exciting opportunity for an RWR and Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Subject Matter Expert (SME).

Using your technical experience in Radio Frequency (RF) and RF Sensing you’ll identify technologies and techniques that could help keep air platforms operating in a hostile, contested environments and then develop and test these technologies and techniques, with support from junior staff. 

Technically leading a diverse project team, with guidance from the Project Technical Authority, you will recognise and utilise their specialist skills in e.g. modelling and simulation in synthetic environments, trials delivery and threat knowledge, to deliver against project aims.

This role will need you to develop stakeholder relationships with Industry and International partners, and advise colleagues in the Military and Defence procurement on RWR issues.  You’ll be collaborating with project teams from across our International Allies, so a good team ethic and a collaborative approach to research and problem solving will enable you to support our enthusiastic team in delivering high impact research for Air Command.
