Lecturer: Engineering

To carry out a full range of teaching duties and administration associated with the delivery and management of learning programmes as appropriate.

Salary:                       Associate Lecturer Scales 1 – 4, £21,136 - £24,943 per annum, pro rata.  Main Grade Scales 1 – UP1, £26,911 - £38,680 per annum, pro rata (for qualified lecturers). 

Hours of Work:       Band A.  Annualised hours 699.6 – 835 (including occasional early mornings, evenings and weekends).

Contract:                  Permanent, flexible fractional.   

Location:                  NPTC Group of Colleges (initially based at Neath College). 

Qualifications:         Candidates must hold a level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline, have relevant experience, have relevant industrial experience and hold a teaching qualification.  You must have level 2 qualifications in both Maths and English (GCSE or equivalent) and be IT literate equivalent to level 2.  Assessor Awards and/or Verifier Awards would be advantageous.
