This is an exciting opportunity to teach, train and assess both in the classroom and the workplace. We are looking for candidates who have experience of teaching and training across a range of electrical engineering areas including one or more of the following: Industrial Robotics, Programmable Logic Controllers, Instrumentation & Control, Microcontrollers.

You will be working within a highly motivated and dedicated team that teaches from BTEC Level 2 up to Level 5 HND engineering subjects to Exeter College students. We are looking for someone who can deliver electrical/electronic subjects to learners across a variety of levels. However, due to sustained growth in our Higher Education learner numbers we are particularly keen to hear from people who can deliver subjects on our HNC/D courses.

You will be joining an Outstanding faculty that is proactive in working with employers and the local community to deliver quality teaching, training and assessment. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, a good communicator and able to deliver outstanding teaching and learning/ training. Experience of teaching and/or work-based assessment would be an advantage.

You will be able to demonstrate recent experience of teaching at a post compulsory level, have substantial industry experience or hold a relevant degree and have up to date knowledge of industry practice. You will need to hold a teaching qualification or be willing to work towards one.

Experience of working within electrical/electronic engineering or industrial automation is highly desirable. If you feel that you have a relevant engineering background and relevant expertise, and are passionate about training the UK’s future engineers, we would very much like to hear from you.
