Building Services Engineer - Operational Technologies

Location: Reading/ Basingstoke area

Working within our Maintenance & Reliability Engineering team, you will be part of a specialist team responsible for providing expertise in disciplines such as software configuration, SMART instruments and disaster recovery, whilst considering cyber security aspects.

This role will give you the opportunity to work for one of the area's largest employers where you will get to apply your technical know-how to cross functional teams of engineers across a range of plant, facilities and systems in support of the UK nuclear deterrent.

We are interested in hearing from candidates who have some knowledge and or experience of:

  • Operational Technology Engineering
  • Diagnosing faults on OT/PC based systems and installing/replacing hardware/software to resolve the issue
  • Working with SCADA and PLC / BMS / DCS systems and developing or modifying software for them
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships

Candidates should have a minimum qualification NQF level 4+ (HNC), in a relevant engineering discipline and have registration with a relevant professional engineering institution such as IEng.

All Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
