WHAT TO EXPECT
This Role is to lead the Specification, Development and Validation of the Functional Requirements for all JLR Lithium Ion Batteries, both High and Low Voltage driving World Class levels of Quality. As a Lead Engineer you will develop and maintain a Complete Suite of Functional Requirements for the HV and LV battery systems for JLR, and ensure correct loading of requirements into the Requirement management tool suite (Dassault - TRM, Catia Magic). You will Ensure traceability of all requirements, develop and maintain a suite suit of Design Validation Procedures to verify all requirements have been successfully implemented and load into Dassault Tool (X-Ray). As a Lead Engineer you will be leading key problem solving activities (Development Program and in Production) with functional issues both in terms of short term solutions and long term improvements).
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
You will lead Validation of requirements through Level 4 HIL rig tests (with support from validation team)and work in the Dassault Toolset environment, developing a robust method to validate functional requirements of interfacing components within the system.You will review quality data from new Program Development and Field Service to continuously improve the functional requirements, both Quality and Scope.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
As a Lead Engineer you will have had experience in a systems engineering role, be degree qualified in a relevant Scientific / Engineering Field and must be familiar with requirement capture process. Having direct experience in Dassault toolset is preferred and it is a must to must have some direct coding experience, with preference to have experience in SysML language.

* Must have experience of dealing with Compex Systems
* Preferable to have relavent Battery Experience
* Preferable to have Automotive / Aerospace experience (or Similar)
