- Do you have an enquiring mind? Are you interested in problem solving?
- Are you interested in a career that will remain technically challenging as you progress through the organisation?
- Are you looking for a change of direction?
If the answer is yes then why not consider a career in forensic investigation?
Burgoynes is an international partnership specialising in technical investigations, including fires, explosions, road traffic incidents, mechanical, materials and electrical failures, personal injuries and other major incidents, providing expert witness services to our clients. We are looking to recruit Engineers and scientists to train in forensic investigations. The ideal candidate should be educated to degree level, be a Chartered Engineer or Scientist and have the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. Excellent candidates with alternative career paths to a high level understanding of concepts and practices will, however, also find us receptive. The only absolute is the ability to think through and solve unique problems using science and engineering principles.
Our investigators enjoy a high degree of autonomy and unparalleled satisfaction doing a job where the technical result really matters. Success in this field allows our investigators to operate at executive level without losing the day-to-day hands-on experiences that give intellectual satisfaction.
The job is very varied and involves a good mixture of site visits and time in the office. It provides an opportunity to travel within the UK and overseas. We offer a highly competitive salary, a number of other benefits and excellent career prospects.
We currently have vacancies, for the right candidates, throughout the UK and opportunities to subsequently relocate overseas exist.
