Research & Development Engineer

If you are a Research & Development Engineer looking for an exciting, new, flexible challenge then we want to hear from you! General Dynamics Mission Systems is recruiting for a Research & Development Engineer, and the role comes with a favourable salary of between £28,500-£31,500.

In your first week in this R&D role, you should expect to undertake the following:

• Support the integration, verification, and validation of R&D networks and solutions
• Support the construction and maintenance of customer demonstration labs
• Build and test systems composed of IT, network, and radio sub-systems
• Produce technical documentation
• Participate in the development process

To succeed in this flexible working role, you should have a degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a related discipline and have good technical documentation production skills. Other essential attributes include excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills together with a willingness to learn and work in a dynamic environment. You will also be expected to travel and undertake field trials, customer demonstrations, and network deployments.
