WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Project Engineer in BIW Adhesive Materials, you will be reporting to the Core Materials Metals, Paint, Adhesives & Corrosion Group Leader, Materials Engineering. The successful candidate will provide technical support, principally to Body Sealing functions on material queries and development.
The role will include the selection, specification, validation and evaluation of adhesive and sealing materials/allied processes for current and future vehicles applications on Jaguar and Land Rover products.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer in BIW Adhesive Materials you will support/Lead development of adhesive and sealing materials strategy, characterise and approve materials for application onto body structures and lead programme support including generation of material specification sheet.
You will also support development of adhesive and sealing material expertise within team and throughout business
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
As a Project Engineer in BIW Adhesive Materials you will have technical knowledge and experience of material properties & processing methods, manufacturing techniques and testing methodologies. You will have good organisational, communication and project management skills, and relevant Engineering degree is preferred but other technical qualifications will be considered.
