WHAT TO EXPECT

We are looking for a Senior Data Validation Engineer that is responsible for ensuring the delivery of programme Engineering Data to the required specification to support Engineering Design Verification.

As a Senior Data Validation Engineer it will be your responsibility to ensure the designs are compatible, complete, robust and optimal prior to committing to prototype & production tooling.

You will be responsible for supporting Groups and Squad members in their delivery of CAD, NGD and other Engineering Data types critical to information sharing and Design Verification delivery.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

* You should be capable of expediting successful delivery through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of engineering functions
* Support Commodity and Squad members with development of CAD and NGD to the required maturity and quality levels
* Ensuring Engineering data is in line with VEPS for zone group including appropriate NGD and CAD maturity as per eBOM intent


WHAT YOU'LL NEED

You will possess a strong understanding and knowledge of the whole automotive vehicle product design, requirements, attributes, and verification.

We require an experienced team leader with proven ability of integrating and coordinating tasks and delivering as both and individual and part of a cross functional team.

You will be capable of expediting successful delivery through assertiveness, strong interpersonal skills, and negotiation with a wide range of engineering functions. You will have a good depth of knowledge and understanding of PCDS processes with an experience in the delivery phase.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

* Very good understanding of vehicle systems and architecture
* Good exposure of a range of CAD, PLM, BOM, CAE and other virtual assessment processes, methods, and tools
* A detailed knowledge of PCDS processes essential, with experience in the delivery phase, experience of Agile methodologies and Scrum would be beneficial
* Excellent interpersonal & organisational skills, with good attention to detail
