Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

Salary: £26,500 - £35,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

The Warhead Engineering Group are looking for a motivated Electronics Engineer to focus on the specification, design and verification of electrical/electronic components.

The successful candidate will be working with a multi-disciplined team and should have a background in electrical/electronic engineering, with the knowledge to support hardware development from design through to test.

The role holder will support a team in the design, development and delivery of electrical/electronic systems and components; responsible for:

• Basic electrical/electronic system design

• Cable harness design

• Circuit schematic generation

• Electrical/electronic assembly - soldering etc

• PCB rework

• Specification and hands on development of electrical/electronic test systems

• Planning and execution of electrical/electronic test activities

• Engaging with other agencies and partners on design development and collaborative opportunities

This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who have some experience in electronic engineering and have achieved an HNC/HND or degree qualification in an engineering discipline.

This role will allow you to build your knowledge and expertise whilst learning about the practical use of Engineering methods, tools and processes in support of our important mission.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
