Mechatronics Craft Engineer
Location: Reading/ Basingstoke area
Package: c. £30,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience) + allowances and potential overtime

Working within our Craft Engineering team, this is an excellent opportunity for a multi-disciplined Craft Practitioner to work with bespoke equipment undertaking planned and reactive maintenance activities on plant and equipment which can include installations, repairs, replacement, calibration, testing and modifications to optimise plant and equipment availability.
This role will give you the opportunity to apply your expertise and experience to produce safe systems of work and work instructions and demonstrate your understanding, competence and within your designated area of responsibility.
Whilst not to be considered a check list, we would encourage applications from engineers (across various technical disciplines) to apply who can demonstrate some of the following:
Knowledge and working experience of fault-finding techniques and methodologies
Experience of operational craft activities including fault finding techniques and methodologies
Working knowledge/experience of Machine Tools, Press or Additive Manufacturing Machines
An understanding of the Health and Safety At Work Act
Experience of Safe Systems of Work (Including Method Statements and Risk Assessments)
Candidates will be expected to have gained an engineering apprenticeship with a minimum NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in a relevant technical discipline or NVQ/Diploma level 2 plus industrial experience.
