CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Electrical Technician to be based on our client account in Shrewsbury.
The Technician will be primarily responsible for the delivery of all planned maintenance & compliance related items on both sites in Shropshire including managing the electrical infrastructure. The individual will manage the sites undertaking all KPI’s and SLA’s within the framework agreement of the contract ensuring a consistent and smooth delivery. They will also be multi-skilled to meet the wide and varied requirement of the role regarding reactive works and small projects
Role Summary:
Primary focus on delivery of all FM Operations SLA’s in accordance with KPI & Output measurements including:
- HVAC (Air handling units, fan coils, filter changes etc.)
- Extract Systems including (Fume hoods and Fume cupboard)
- Electrical (Lighting including emergency, back-up generators, UPS systems, electrical testing including PAT)
- Fire Alarm (Statutory testing and associated checks)
- Plumbing (Sinks and toilets including blockages)
- Office furniture layouts
- Roof and gutters (Cleaning and blockages)
- Building Fabric including Fire Doors
- Carparks (Gritting, removal of leaves etc.)
- Internal building fabric (Doors, walls, flooring etc.)
- Manage and keep up to date all electrical line diagrams and board schedules while ensuring all electrical isolations procedures are carried out on site to insure compliance.
- Manage all 3rd party maintenance suppliers and contractor activities as directed within CBRE team and report any corrective works or issues arising.
- Comply with HSE requirements as outlined within the SLA and as instructed by the company policy.
- Act as a part of site Emergency team i.e. Fire Marshall, as required for emergency control activities.
- Report all accidents and hazards identified within daily routine.
- Ensure all visitor, suppliers and contractors visiting sites operate within appropriate SHE processes and client QHSE standards.
- Co-ordinate the raising of purchase orders for goods or services as required, in compliance of business controls at all times
- Take ownership and understand customer requirements and be able to demonstrate the ability to close out concerns and ensure customer is kept appraised at all times
- Provide and arrange cover for the FM team as defined by line management
- In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined including self-deliver of small projects etc.
- A reasonable amount of OOH’s and weekend working will be required to assist with the services CBRE deliver on site.
- Complete all mandatory training and job specific training as requested by the management team.
Experience Required:
- Strong customer services skills in the delivery of Planned and reactive works within a high profile environment.
- PPM delievery experience
- Electrically competent to 18th edition
- Electrical installation experience
