MBDA Missile Systems - Deliver For A More Secure Tomorrow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior and influential role leading the newly created UK Air Dominance, OA and Battle Modelling team within Future Systems. This role is responsible within Future Systems for delivery of the UK Air Dominance strategy, and for the functional management of the Operational Analysis and Battle Modelling teams in MBDA UK.

Specific responsibilities include: Supporting the Development of the MBDA Group product strategy for the future Air to Air Portfolio in the era of 6th generation combat aircraft; Creating the business case for these future Air to Air weapons in the UK and securing and delivering the necessary contracts and internal funding to deliver this. In addition, this role will lead and develop the OA and BM function within Future Systems. Including its interaction with the rest of engineering and the wider group.

What we’re looking for

• Experience of dealing with customers and supplier teams on a technical and programme level
• Able to negotiate with customer and Enterprise stakeholders in a technical and business context
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact both technically and programmatically with customers and senior management
• Able to motivate and coordinate the supporting teams and disciplines within MBDA
• Working across MBDA Group to understand requirements, priorities and timescales for implementation
• A strong technical knowledge of MBDA Air Defence products and the key technologies they employ beneficial
