MBDA - Deliver for a more secure tomorrow

Salary up to £75K + bonus + benefits

This is an exciting opportunity to lead new business campaigns and secure orders for UK MoD In Service Support programmes. You will work cooperatively across a wide range of customers, other companies and MBDA stakeholders to agree win-win solutions and to positively contribute to developing and maintaining effective relationships.

The Opportunity

Customer Focused Relationships As part of the UK SBD team to act as the Customers Champion and nominated UK customer interface for relevant related campaigns, making it easy for the customer to do business with MBDA by creating the right relationships and by helping to develop the most acceptable Through Life Capability Solutions.
Optimising our communications with our customer stakeholders, ensuring that we communicate in a clear, focused, open, proactive, effective and timely manner that is targeted at the right customer stakeholders.
Collaborative Working - To establish and maintain a collaborative approach with our customers and with our industrial partners and supply chain, were we all share our vision, goals and strategy, and in an open, transparent and win/win manner.

Leadership / Team-working - To provide leadership to Bid Teams and Campaigns.
Innovation - To act as the internal agent of change for all specific related new business and associated customer / industry relationships.
Strategy - To develop and gain stakeholder endorsement for the sector strategy and to ensure this is reflected in the Planning Assumptions as part of the UK budgeting process.
Business Planning - To create and gain endorsement for Business Plans for products and/or campaigns across UK Domestic business and lead the appropriate Business Cases for financial investment/support required from MBDA.

Who and what are we looking for?

A candidate who can work closely with customers, winni
ng and retaining their respect; and to developing new business using your influence and contacts.
Some team-management experience, and certainly the ability to bring people along with your ideas.
Strong listening, facilitating and negotiating skills to help you close business..

Someone who is comfortable working autonomously, or within a team, and you will be an obvious self-starter with plenty of drive.
Ideally you will have past experience of delivering Projects across multiple functions. Multi-disciplinary & multi-national knowledge of working and communicating across directorates & countries would be useful.
