Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

Salary: £33,850 - £50,000 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

The Warhead Engineering Group are looking for a motivated and experienced Electrical Engineer to work as part of a multidiscipline team supporting the delivery of conceptual and detail designs for electrical engineering solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contribute to the production and delivery of technical reports and presentations

  • Contribute to the delivery of the system from concept to realisation

  • Support the progress of designs through product lifecycle

  • Understand the hazards and associated risks of any work conducted

  • Maintaining and promote high standards in ESH (Environmental, safety & health), security and quality

Applicants will need to have experience in electrical engineering design and specifications with experience of using design tools such as CAD / CAE as well as product realisation and manufacturing techniques.

The ideal candidate would have experience in digital circuit design and digital design experience using Verilog or VHDL. Previous experience using Siemens EDA software, Teamcenter and the generation of manufacturing drawings is desired, although further training will be provided if needed.

Whilst not to be considered a check list, candidates would also benefit from knowledge of ANY of the following:

  • Testing and evaluating designs, installations, systems and analysing data

  • Recording and analyses of test data

  • Preparing documentation, writing reports and giving presentations

  • Designing and Drawing circuit diagrams

  • Experience programming embedded systems

  • Digital design experience using Verilog or VHDL

  • Experience in digital design verification using Universal Verification Methodology (UVM)

  • Verifying compliance with electrical and construction safety regulations

To be considered for the role you would ideally have an HNC/HND or degree qualification in an engineering discipline or proven experience working in a similar environment and possess strong communication skills.

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
