WHAT TO EXPECT
As Process Engineer at Jaguar Land Rover, you'll be reporting into the Manufacturing Engineering Process Lead Engineer and to the ME Process Engineering Manager. The department is responsible for all Manufacturing Engineering activities on new vehicle and model year programmes.

This role will provide engineering and technical support to design, develop and implement manufacturing production processes and associated equipment to enable successful launch of new products, ensuring feasibility of all designs to suit manufacturing build requirements, Design for Assembly (DFA) and compliance with the Bill of Process (BOP).

This includes the creation and continuous improvement of process, all process equipment, delivery of tools, jigs & fixtures, quality problem solving, data analysis and reporting of major issues, deployment of failure mode avoidance tools, support of cross-functional teams in the resolution of those issues on projects and the tracking of resolution through to completion.

You'll be part of a team of engineers, the role requires collaboration across functions to ensure we have established compliance with the BOP to deliver processes that meet our basic minute value (BMV) and quality targets. It is also important for us to share best practice across the platforms and between manufacturing plants to ensure we employ the best processes available wherever possible.

Roles are available across Body in White and Trim and Final.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You'll have experience of being responsible for process, and related equipment and tooling in a production environment. You'll be a forward thinker who takes their own initiative and works under minimum supervision in a highly pressurised environment. You'll have undeniable evidence of complex problem-solving capabilities and be a really strong communicator. You'll have previous internal and external stakeholder management experience and be a self-starter who is extremely self-motivated. You'll have the ability to create detailed and effective action plans.

Minimum requirement NVQ level 3 in Engineering related discipline (or equivalent)
