As one of our Maintenance Planner’s here at Barrow Mill, you’ll be working within the maintenance / engineering teams by planning and scheduling various maintenance activities to ensure the effectiveness of plant equipment is maintained to world class standards. Your role will also see you continuously improving asset reliability with a desire to make a proactive difference.
The primary focus of your role will be to implement and plan our scheduling process relating to maintenance activities in both TM and Converting areas across the plant.

This role will be primarily based on-site with some flexible working offered.

What You’ll Need

 

•    Ideally, you’ll be time-served in a technical discipline, ideally qualified to HNC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent 
•    Ideally, you’ll have previous experience on working in a manufacturing operation, or in an automated or continuously operating process facility.
•    You’ll be experienced in planning and scheduling techniques and the use of tools to manage this.
•    You’ll be experienced in coordinating resources including contract / suppliers. 
•    Knowledge and experience of supervising/managing contractors. 
•    Computer literacy, SAP, MS Project, Word, Excel etc. 
•    Good communication and presentation skills.
•    We work in a culture of continuous improvement so having experience of lean methodologies and conventional plant operations would be advantageous.
