Senior Cost Engineer
AWE are currently recruiting for Senior Cost Engineers to join our Project Controls team. As a Senior Cost Engineer, you'll ensure that a quality Cost Engineering service is delivered to projects by leading and task managing the team of Cost Engineers and Financial Analysts.

Package - Salary based on experience

You'll be part of an integrated Project Controls Team responsible for contributing to the production of project budgets, monthly cost reports, cost forecasts, assessments of value of work in progress and supplier value of work done. You'll also have input into the investment approval and change control process, risk and opportunity process and peer reviews.
We are looking for the Senior Cost Engineer to have:
Degree or HND/HNC in appropriate business or technical discipline or equivalent experience
Experience of implementing best practice cost engineering processes and tools including;
Budget production and maintenance including MOD ABC (Annual Budget Cycle)
Cost Forecasting
Change Control
Variance Analysis
Cost and Performance Reporting
Forms of contract Eg NEC4
Earned Value Management processes and techniques
Working within Public Contract Regulations
Good communication skills including networking, influencing and stakeholder management
Preferably, we are looking for the Senior Cost Engineer to have:
A Project Management qualification (e.g., APMP)
Membership of a relevant professional body or working towards one
Experience of coaching and mentoring
Knowledge of confidence modelling processes
Individuals interested in this permanent opportunity will be required to be obtain and maintain the relevant level of UK Security Clearance
