WHAT TO EXPECT

Salesforce is a key technology component supporting several digital transformation initiatives that will enable Jaguar Land Rover's digital backbone. To recognise the importance of Salesforce, Jaguar Land Rover Digital has taken the opportunity to build a brand-new Centre of Excellence dedicated to ensuring all capabilities relating to Salesforce are managed through a single organisation. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play a leadership role helping the business to understand Salesforce technical solutions while leading other Technical Architects to ensure customer/user goals are central in both the project design and execution.

You'll also be responsible for the following:

Actively leading strategic engagements, both technical and business focused to build winning, differentiated Salesforce capabilities and value at Jaguar Land Rover.Working with other members of the Salesforce CoE and wider teams to determine plans and execute the best strategy.Articulating the benefits of Salesforce, cloud-based architecture to stakeholders as they look to transform their business.Expertly presenting Salesforce technology, application development, infrastructure, security and integration capabilities and how they can be leveraged to optimise the outcome for users/customers.Building and presenting customized demos with other team members to highlight technical capabilities and innovation available on the Salesforce platform, rapid visual prototyping.Managing and implementing the agreed Salesforce Org Strategy and obtaining buy-in from stakeholders.Accountability for the definition, creation and maintenance of the Salesforce Reference ArchitectureChairing Salesforce Architectural Design Authority (ADA).Developing a good understanding of the opportunities for further innovation using Salesforce capabilities. Mentoring and coaching team members e.g., Technical Architects where necessary.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

To be successful in the role you will need the following skills and experience:

Exceptional hands-on track-record of software development where service quality & security is a priority.In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce Sales, Service & Marketing clouds and how they can be configured, with a focus on business capabilities and development.Coaching mindset: able to explore and challenge stakeholders positively.Build credibility and trust through experience and personal style.Partnership mindset.Proven internal/external stakeholder management ability.Demonstrable ability to successfully interact with and influence senior stakeholders.Demonstrable experience of working in a commercial, pragmatic and entrepreneurial environment where pace and execution are a prerequisite.Able to work in a collaborative environment.Proven Salesforce experience, administration or implementation.Experience with Agile methodology for delivery.

Additional experience and skills that would be advantageous:

Ideally, Salesforce.com certified, preferably Application and/or System Architect. * Previous work with global high-end/luxury customer experience brands.
