As part of the Re-Imagine strategy for the JLR business, Jaguar will be repositioned as a modern luxury brand and will seek to offer a new end to end customer journey, underpinned by an all-electric car portfolio.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master, for our centre in Gaydon to join a new and exciting project. You will be part of an energetic high performing Agile organisation, who operate effectively within a complex and innovative stakeholder landscape.

In your role as Scrum Master, you will be exposed to electric vehicle projects where we are evolving the EV technology of the future. You will be expected to work within an agile team of highly capable engineers who are currently working on a new electric vehicle programme.

You must have a strong working knowledge of Project Management as we as Agile development methodologies. It is important that you have experience in working on the full completion of a project, from the beginning through to market release.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager;

* Lead / support on projects and workstreams; from scoping to delivery, cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management ensuring project delivery to required time, quality and cost targets
* Management and governance of changes across vehicle and architecture
* Use wider business experience to guide their own projects and share learning with functional peers across programmes

As a vehicle team Scrum Master;

* Guiding and coaching team members in self-management and cross-functionality; (Emphasize Importance of Communication)
* Helping Scrum Team focus on creating high-value product increments that meet the Definition of Done
* Helping removal of obstacles to Scrum Team's progress (Managing obstacle board reviews)
* Ensuring that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive and kept within the timebox
* Helping stakeholders understand and enact an empirical approach for complex work (from tools and processes usage perspective i.e. change management 1 pager population)
* Evolving new ways to bridge between business tools & processes and Agile WoW
* Ensuring top-down and bottom-up sync between product groups and vehicle groups for any activity
* Governing effective Product Goal definition and Product Backlog management
* Managing group Product Backlog and ensuring clear and concise Product Backlog items which are linked to stories/features/capabilities
* Facilitating stakeholder collaboration where necessary
* Preparation of vehicle team QBR memo in conjunction with leadership team

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


* Demonstrable history of high performance based on end of year assessments
* Experience leading programmes through delivery and integration, employing pre-emptive risk and issue management
* Comfortable dealing with ambiguity to pilot new business initiatives, whilst utilising existing programme management skills
* Experienced at building effective cross functional relationships with strong stakeholder management skills at all levels
* Evidence of leadership skills and ability to drive positive business outcomes
* Knowledge of Agile mentality and Scrum framework


* Experience in a programme management role with the automotive or manufacturing industry
* Strong track record of delivering process development and transformation projects with problem solving skills
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
* Trained as a scrum master
* Fundamental knowledge of JIRA
* Formal Project Management qualification e.g. PRINCE or other such recognised methodology
