* Knowledge of the associated legal requirements with respect to Safety Components development.
* Previous programme delivery experience, showing influencing and engagement skills and the confidence to lead a design team on a particular issue and effectively communicate your conclusions.
* Experience of early concept design generation and the ability to develop feasible engineering proposal using ‘work-in-progress' design surfaces, engineering sections and other inputs.
* Knowledge and experience of the range of component technologies and design verification processes used within Safety Components and Cabin Systems development.
* A relevant degree or demonstration of equivalent technical experience.

Desirable:
* Experience of applying additional virtual engineering techniques, e.g. Simplified CAE analysis within the Catia v5 or v6 toolset or DVA software applications.
