WHAT TO EXPECT

As an EV Charging - Hardware Product Owner, you will be responsible for the technical and commercial aspects of one of a number of home charging products within the EV Charging area and will support the development & delivery of these projects and their interdependencies in support of the wider Electrification Services strategy.

The role will involve the planning and co-ordination of specific projects relating to the provision of EV home charging solutions for Jaguar Land Rover globally. This is a highly collaborative role; your project skills will mean you have the ability to work directly with stakeholders and support the delivery relevant projects from conception to delivery.

The role will also mature to require in-life management of the services delivered including performance reporting and management of service improvement plans with key stakeholders. The individual will work with Jaguar Land Rover's external partners, internal and regional teams to ensure the services provided give the highest levels of customer confidence.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

As an EV Charging - Hardware Product Owner, you will support the definition and delivery of robust EV home charging product solutions, across multiple national and international geographies and that the operating model, service levels, resources and cost-base are fit for purpose to support these solution. You will be involved in the delivery of EV charging projects utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes to support the achievement of strategic business objectives of the Electrification Services function. You will lead projects and work streams; from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management ensuring project delivery to required timescale, quality and cost. As an EV Charging - Hardware Product Owner, you will Contribute to required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential:

Previous experience in a similar role in Product or Project Management with a track record of delivery
Customer experience mind-set
Demonstrate enthusiasm, the ability to communicate and influence delivery of products and services in a cross-functional team
Proven track record for partner alignment, influencing product and services roadmaps
Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
Experience in creating and present complex data & issues to a varied audience
Ability to handle high degree of complexity and manage multiple workstreams
Excellent team player, able to interact cross-functionally at different levels within the business
Ability to work in a matrix organisation and to influence others outside of the local home charging team
Experience of collaborative cross functional team working
Good MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel


Desirable:

Strong commercial and technical awareness of the vehicle Electrification business
Knowledge of global EV home charging market, in particular; EVSE, infrastructure, market structures, OEM activity and regulatory backdrop.
Understanding in developing propositions from customer insight stage through to marketing and retail deployment.
Experience of delivering projects within the automotive sector (ideally within Jaguar Land Rover)
Comfortable developing business propositions based on market data, commercial KPIs and customer insights
Knowledge of Agile methodology and its application into Product and Service roadmaps
Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred
