- Providing Engineering Governance within Manufacturing including design certificationPerforming SDA role on Sonar 2076, Control Panels, Propulsion Controls, Degaussing, Steam Valve control and actuationResolving obsolescence issues mechanical, electrical, electronic and materialsResolving customer queriesSupporting test investigation, defining test methods, equipment and test specificationsEquipment diagnosis within manufacturing and on platformSupporting bidsProvide training to manufacturing personnel and customer
Essential
- Degree in Electronic Engineering
- HNC or HND in Mathematics or Physics with relevant electrical/electronic functional knowledge
- Experience working with legacy electronic equipment
- Experience of high current applications, switching power supplies, analogue and digital equipment
Desirable
- Chartered Engineer or working towards
- Experience with microprocessor-based systems
