WHAT TO EXPECT

This role is a great opportunity to support the delivery of Engineering Transformation projects to find efficiencies and create value​​ within the business. It will involve stakeholder management, setting tasks out for others to complete in a timely manner.

Typically, this will involve the identification; planning and co-ordination of specific projects within the Engineering Transformation teams that will include projects with respect to:

* Agile
* Simplification
* Systems Engineering
* Tools
* Synchronisation & Validation
* Budget & Cycle Plan
* Quality
* Scorecard
* Recruitment and Retention
* Research


Key accountabilities and responsibilities

In this role you will foster Agile working practices to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outcomes, as well as work with the operational business to understand current processes and to document and prioritise requirements for changes and additions.

You will be expected to conduct management of required Governance, including status reporting, and risk and issue management. Champion data-driven working practices and develop more effective and efficient ways of working.

Other responsibilities include managing stakeholders to ensure projects add value and are aligned to stakeholder expectations and undertaking any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential:

* Previous experience with Project Management with track record of delivery
* Methodical detailed approach to work context
* Analytical skills to identify how one issue can impact on another and put in place the required interventions through support or from own knowledge base
* Experience in data analysis and Data visualization
* Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience
* Experience of Problem Resolution using structured approaches
* Ability to manage risks and issues
* Negotiation and adaptability skills
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience


Desirable:

* Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
* Experience of metric generation/reporting e.g Tableau
* Project management qualification
* Six Sigma Qualification
* Agile methodology trained
