Senior Electrical/Electronics Engineer
Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area (office based)
Salary: £42,650 - £67,400 (depending on your suitability and level of experience)

Working as part of a small team of experienced engineers, this role offers candidates the opportunity to apply their domain knowledge and experience to gain the requisite depth of knowledge of warhead electrical systems so they can apply sound engineering principles to analyse these systems and develop their career with us.
Applicants should have experience in the designing, testing, and fault-finding of electrical/electronic equipment, with the ability to analyse and assess existing designs. Knowledge of the application of electronics to defence systems would be an advantage but not essential.
Whilst not to be considered a checklist, we would welcome applications from candidates who have the following knowledge, skills and experience:
Analogue circuit design
Digital circuit design,
Electronic circuit fault finding
Circuit simulation
Generation of requirements and specifications
Data analysis
This role will require someone who has:
The ability to make sound engineering judgments with limited data
The ability to undertake/manage trials and tests to verify component behaviour
Good written and oral communication skills
The ability to write clear and concise reports
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Delivery of formal presentations to peers, management, and customers
Use of MS Office and in-house applications.
Candidates will need to have a degree qualification (or equivalent e.g. HNC plus vocational training) in electrical/electronic engineering, followed by relevant experience.
Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role.
