Hexagon’s Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a Marine Support Team Lead to join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. In the Specialist Customer Support team this role will utilize your positioning solutions expertise and market experience to ensure our customers’ success. Supporting our Sales and Business Development teams, you will help to demonstrate and increase awareness of our revolutionary technologies for Marine customers.

Hexagon is a global company with locations around the world. This position can be based in our Aberdeen Office, Scotland, Home Based in the UK or Home Based in the Netherlands.

As the Marine Support Team Lead you will lead a team responsible for:
• Participating in our sales process as technical experts to the sales team and customers, coordinating and delivering demonstrations within the Marine market
• Creating self-service support materials, ensuring our knowledge and experience is accessible to customers when they are integrating our technologies in their application and simplifying the support process
• Representing the voice of the customer in new product development for Marine related products and ensure the Support teams has the knowledge to support new products, services, and enhancements
• Providing training and support to our Sales and Customer Support teams to successfully demonstrate and support Marine products, both remotely and on-site

Must-Have:
• Degree in Geomatics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years’ experience in a technical support role or related Marine industry experience in a customer facing role
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others
• English fluency with excellent verbal and written skills
• Ability to and willingness to travel occasionally internationally
• Excellent project management skills, ensuring we deliver on our commitments

• Experience in GNSS and INS systems installation and/or troubleshooting
• Experience with data analysis and GNS/INS post-processing
