What you'll be doing:

    Development of the acquisition strategy, and work with commercial colleagues to document the commercial strategy.Provides project management leadership to the Route to Contract workstreamsEngages with subject matter experts to bring their advice and expertise into negotiationsProvides written and verbal briefings to Senior Stakeholders on Dreadnought CommitmentsDevelopment of contract artefacts including Change Requests, AEDs, MDAL, Risk Register, Scope DescriptionHas delegated PM authority to assure new commitments
Your skills and experiences:

    Project Management qualifications for example APM or similarBid Management ExperienceExperience of procurement processesConsiderable stakeholder management skillsCommercially astuteExcellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)Good analytical and problem solving ability.

The Joint Route to Contract team:

The Joint Route to Contract (JRTC) Team is responsible for: execution of the contract commitments for DP3 (Delivery Phase 3), developing the agreements and securing permissions via DCPG; developing the strategy for DP4 and project management of the approvals workstream; and delivering route to contract transformation and continuous improvement activities through joint processes. This role provides Project Management leadership of the DP3 Commitments working on a range of deals across all of the Alliance Parties.

This is a unique opportunity to be involved with a Programme of national strategic importance for the UK as we deliver the Dreadnought Class of Submarine to the Royal Navy. You will work senior stakeholders across three organisations, BAE Systems, Rolls Royce and the MOD to project manage critical supply chain processes, improvements and opportunities.
