Location: Reading / Basingstoke Area

Salary: £41,950 - £65,000 (depending on experience) + Allowance

The Radiological instrumentation team design novel radiation detection and measurement equipment to meet regulatory need. We tackle prototypes through to production ready designs and are looking for an imaginative Mechanical Engineer to join our team

Successful Candidates will be responsible for:

• Delivery of complex products and architectures to Customers at agreed costs
• Issue of technical documentation for large instrumentation projects/service delivery
• Design, build and test complex products and architectures which meet project deliverables
• Seek and identify new instrumentation/equipment with the potential to improve company plant and processes

Candidates should be able to demonstrate:

• Qualifications to minimum HND (preferably Degree or Chartered) or equivalent level of knowledge in electronics, Mecahanical , engineering or physics discipline
• An ability to draw schematics and printed circuit board layouts
• Experience working in a design, development and metrology environment

Candidates must be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role and be willing and able to work in designated areas.
