As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will work within our avionics or maritime product development teams, developing a range of product solutions to meet the needs of new and advanced avionic and maritime platforms.
The successful candidate will be assigned to one of our avionic or maritime product development teams and be primarily involved in the detailed design or integration activities of one or more system components. There will be opportunities to work within our research teams developing conceptual designs for new products and systems.
To apply for this Hardware Development Engineer role, you will need a degree within electronics or electronic systems engineering. The following are also required:
- Full understanding of the development lifecycle from concept to requirements, design capture to production handover
- Ability to investigate and resolve system integration issues and perform hardware design and verification in digital and/or analogue circuits
- Firmware development and verification skills, primarily VHDL
- An understanding of model-based engineering/model-based system engineering.
In return for your collaborative approach and expertise, you will receive an excellent benefits package, including a salary of £32,000 to £40,000.
