We have a vacancy for the right candidate to lead and manage our Medical Device Innovation Services (MDIS) team in providing safe and effective medical device innovation services from within the Clinical Engineering department at STH.

You’ll be responsible for the high performance of the MDIS and staff, for continuing the embedded culture of working within a certificated quality system. You’ll also engender a philosophy of continuous service improvement, ensuring the strategic direction of the service is consistent with that of clinical engineering and the Trust.

You’ll house and support trainees across all clinical engineering and medical device related programmes and will be involved in the delivery of training, research and innovation activities at local and national level.
