Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK or Ireland sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Reading or Dublin

Salary: Up to £77,400 / €82,200 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

About the Role

As our Resource & Planning Manager you will have a critical role in allocating resources & global advisory services to bid projects to successfully increase our portfolio and deliver our SSE Renewables growth strategy and Net Zero Commitment.

You will be responsible for the creation of tools, systems and processes to manage requests, prioritise projects and manage workforces. As Resource & Planning Manager you will collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups and in additional to leadership of the bid coordinators team you will be accountable for the effective allocation of resources.

In this role you will be the key planning interface with the bid team for all other stakeholder groups, such as Engineering, Project Development, Procurement & Corporate Affairs. As Resource & Planning Manager you will understand the needs of each group and how to balance conflicting priorities to deliver the best out-come for the bid and the business.

Main accountabilities may include:

- Business Planning.

- Workforce Planning.

- Management & Development of Bid Coordinators.

- Governance & Management Reporting.

- Stakeholder Management.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Significant experience delivering complex business planning solutions and managing dynamic workforce resources within a Bids environment.

- An ability to work within a fast-paced and complex project environment.

- The highest attention to detail, producing quality management reports and KPIs, being able to interpret complex information, identify opportunities and risks and to plan accordingly.

- Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate complex information into a digestible format for multiple audiences to gain buy-in, identify issues and solve problems.

- Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders in a dynamic and responsive way.

- An Innovative approach and growth mindset to continually improve ways of working to achieve best results.
