About the Role

Base Location: Greater Gabbard - Suffolk

Salary: £25,703 to £29,879 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

As Stores Person, you will be responsible for maintaining storage and inventory control across renewable generation, ensuring critical stock is replenished, stored correctly, and delivered to site on time. This is a key role in maximising the availability of the offshore fleet, responding to faulted turbines with the efficient delivery of spare parts to get them back online.

You will also participate in the house keeping and maintenance of the site Stores facility, routine maintenance of site equipment & assisting with site compliance to SHE and UK Government regulations.

Further key duties:

- Stores to Quayside Logistics

Assist with preparation of materials bags for offshore transfer, transportation of bags to and from the quayside and loading/unloading of bags and other materials from the Crew Transfer Vessels (CTV).

- Supply Chain Management

Direct daily contact with all suppliers who currently provide the business with parts and consumable stock. Control of hauliers delivering to Stores sites.

- Facilities Management

Perform day to day Facilities Management requirements: building checks, defect reports, fire alarm test etc. Ensure contractors and visitors on site are safe, in line with company procedures. Assist with daily FM security for site.

- Inventory Management

Raise purchase requests for replenishment of stock items, receiving and receipting of goods. Ensure the efficient operation of stock management system, ensure good housekeeping standards at all times.

- Compliance

Assist in ensuring site compliance to MOT, LOLER, PUWER and COSHH regulations, this includes maintenance of site assets: fork lift trucks and all other handling equipment. Participate and support other business operations, including site audits, contractor checks and support of emergency response plans etc.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Understanding of Stock Control - previous experience desirable.

- Good level of IT skills.

- A 'can do attitude', with the ability to work alone and prioritise daily tasks.

- Previous experience of working in a stores/logistics environment.

- Confidence to deal with internal & external stakeholders.
