About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow

Salary: £37,600 - £56,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

An opportunity to join the Renewables Commercial Finance team, specifically focusing on the future horizon.

SSER has committed to treble its current output by 2030, in order to meet these ambitions, significant growth and investment is required. It is essential that SSER Finance bring insight and analysis to investment decisions and shape the strategy of the future SSER business.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance for Offshore, the Senior Finance Analyst for SSER will own, control and report the SSE Renewables 10 year financial model, whilst conducting ad hoc research and analysis into market trends, transactions, or investment opportunities.

The role will work closely with the SSER Onshore and Offshore finance teams to inform the analysis and model input, whilst there will be regular contact with the offshore construction projects of Seagreen and Doggerbank and other project development teams.

The Senior Finance Analyst will be the key Business Partner for the SSE Group Corporate Finance and SSER Strategy functions and much of their will work will be engaging with these departments to inform SSER analysis and output. This role will place the candidate at the centre of the SSER business in a high profile position and provides the unique opportunity to forecast the SSER business performance, strategy and make up to 2030.

Key outputs will be reported and presented to the Finance Director of SSE Renewables and other key senior management groups.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to:

- Highly proficient in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint.

- Experience of financial modelling and analysis.

- Analytical skills.

- Degree-level education or equivalent.
