About the Role

Base Location: Perth, Glasgow, Belfast, Dublin or Reading

Salary: £44,100 - £66,100 + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

What is the Role?

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated compliance professional who has experience of managing a support function. In this role you'll lead, manage, and motivate a team that provides support and digital services to the Group Compliance Team, creates new group compliance controls, oversee reporting and team communications.

As Group Compliance Support Services Manager, you will manage the team that:

- Maintains SSE's rules repository and the rule change notification process.

- Develops MS Office 365 solutions (particularly in Sharepoint and Power BI), to facilitate the digitisation of knowledge, data governance and compliance controls, and trains staff in the use of these solutions.

- Liaises with a wide range of internal stakeholders, including group compliance, business assurance, regulation, corporate affairs, general counsel and company secretarial to ensure that reports are accurate, timely and well-presented.

- Provides administrative and digital training services as required.

- Produces high quality team communications via a number of platforms.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we'd love you to have:

- Experience of managing a successful support function, ideally within compliance, general counsel, regulation, information management, or similar.

- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.

- Advanced skills in Office 365, including Sharepoint and Power BI.

- Experience of managing, motivating, and coaching a team.

- Experience of leading on projects and/or initiatives to enhance or improve support services.
