Salary: c.£53k dependent on experience plus bonus and benefits
Hybrid working pattern: We use a blended approach to on-site and remote working
The main purpose is of the role is to work with our Suppliers to assure the delivery of IT Infrastructure Services (Back Office) can meet the needs of MBDA consumers and that services are reliable, secure and perform.
If you are or have been a 2nd or 3rd line Technical Support Engineer or Systems Administrator then, you could be a great fit for this role.
NB: Please note that the successful applicant will need to be in agreement to achieving the required levels of security clearance with acceptable restrictions or no restrictions (SC then DV).
Here's the essential skills needed for the role:
- Solid experience in Wintel/Microsoft infrastructure solutions such as Windows Server 2016, Active Directory Domain Services, MS Exchange, SCOM, MECM
- Operational knowledge of Database & Storage solutions such as Oracle, SQL & NetApps
- Operational knowledge of Network technologies including Routers, Switches, DNS etc
- Solid security risk awareness
- Ability to solve complex infrastructure technical problems with the capability to own and a lead Rapid Action Team
- Can build strong collaborative relationships including those with 3rd Party Service Suppliers
Whilst not mandatory, some or all of the following capabilities would be an advantage:
- Understanding of Cloud Services such as Microsoft Azure and Containerisation Technologies
- Understanding of Cyber Security
- Understanding of ITIL
A talented and self-motivated person who is ambitious and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines. As our UK Infrastructure Services Analyst, you would work closely with our Suppliers to ensure that the Infrastructure service they deliver is reliable, performant and secure. You will find ways to make a difference by innovating to improve the service. When needed you will risk assess change and find root cause fix's to problems.
This role is based within the MBDA's UK Information Management arm that collaborates closely with our Suppliers and other teams and colleagues in Europe.
