Salary: £50k to £60K dependent on experience + bonus + benefits

Hybrid working pattern: Where possible, we will seek to accommodate a blended approach to on-site and remote working - such as one "team day" on prime site plus other days depending on operational needs with the occasional need for out of hours working to cover upgrades or travel.
The opportunity:
Due to promotion of the existing role holder, MBDA have an exciting opportunity for a flexible Information Systems professional with demonstrable experience in applications systems operations and solution integration. The role will be part of the Information Systems Engineering UK Delivery and Operations team providing and maintain enterprise applications according to the group and national strategies for existing and future technologies.

You will be a key team member of the UK of Architects, Analysts and Integration specialists, along with colleagues in France and Italy as we seek to improve the standards and maintainability of our application offerings across the group for the greater engineering functions.
What we're looking for from you:
  • A broad level of technical information technology and information systems knowledge ideally in a defence level environment covering application systems, databases, servers and desktop integration primarily for Windows based systems but with expectation to grow knowledge in other operating environments.
  • Experience of enterprise application lifecycle management of information systems including validation, testing, release and deployment, as well as operational support and maintenance..
  • Ability to coordinate resources, internal and external with, a good level of technical competence to ensure solutions comply with the operational and security standards required for the defence industry.
  • The role is not limited to the existing tools sets or engineering areas but experience of industry tools for Product Lifecycle Management, Engineering Lifecycle Management and Service Lifecycle Management is highly desirable - for example PTC Windchill; IBM ELM/Jazz; CARL Source; Pure:Variants; Ansys various offerings; Dassaut 3D Expeirence;
