Apprenticeship - Admin and Logistic - Renewables (August 2023 Intake)

Base Location: Seagreen (Montrose)

Salary: circa £11,500 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time

About the Role

In alignment with our growth plans, we are looking for an Admin and Logistic Apprentice within our Renewables (Offshore Wind) Department.

Working closely with the Site Operations Assistant once trained, you'll assist with the scheduling of meetings, minute taking, completing orders, deliveries, and liaising with regular contractors and vendors, and performing ad hoc tasks as and when they arise.

This is a Level 2 Apprenticeship. During this programme, you will receive comprehensive on- and off-the-job-training which will enable you to develop your skills and technical knowledge, allowing you to achieve industry accreditations. Your training will be delivered by one of our training partners and will be delivered over 12 months via a hybrid model of both virtual and face to face delivery. Whilst on this apprenticeship programme you will develop:

  • Interpersonal and people skills through collaboration and teamwork
  • Communication skills through a wide range of stakeholder engagement
  • Organisational skills such as the scheduling of meetings
  • Technology skills through the use of MS applications
  • Attention to detail by completing tasks accurately and consistently
  • Whilst at work, you will get the opportunity to put your training into practise. Throughout your time at SSE, you will be trained and mentored by a dedicated Business Mentor and supported by our experienced and friendly team.
