About the Role

Base Location: Glasgow, Aberdeen or Perth.

Salary: £61,100 - £91,700 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As OT Security Manager, you'll lead the assessment and improvement of cyber security within the Operational Technology of Transmission SSEN.

You will ensure compliance with the NIS Directive, the establishment and maintenance of policy and procedures around governance, risk assessment, lifecycle management, verification and vetting, training and awareness, managing vulnerabilities, incident response, the investigation of cyber security incidents and managing lessons learned.

The role also includes working with service and project teams within Operational Technology to ensure that designs and architecture meets security requirements.

Critically, the role includes the real time management of cyber security incidents, assessing attack vectors and our associated vulnerabilities to protect our Operational Technology systems.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience with Operational Technology supporting Critical National Infrastructure.

- Relevant educational qualification or equivalent by experience.

- One or more professional certifications, such as GICSP, CSSA, GRID, CISSP, or ISA 62443.

- Strong knowledge and experience of managing a security team.

- An understanding of security standards and frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82.

- Experience in the application of security related operational processes in the OT environment.

- Experience in the risk management practices within the OT environment including practical application of OT risk mitigation.

- Experience in setting up and managing a cyber security program, including the establishment and operation of an information security management system.

- The ability to translate and simplify complex technical information to a wide range of audiences including internal and external stakeholders.
