About the Role

Base Location: Perth

Salary: £30,273 - £35,194 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available

Reporting to the Connections Accountant, you will be involved in all aspects of accounting required to maintain financial control within the Networks connections processes.

You will be required to support the operational depots and the Connections and Engineering team in all aspects of connections activities from quotation acceptance through to producing invoices relating to customer billings for both companies and individuals.

The role will include miscellaneous billing and allocating costs to projects from bulk materials. You will be in contact with external customers to resolve queries with billing and payment.

In addition, you will be required to process refunds to customers on a regular basis and processing of daily bank receipts and communicating this to the business to allow projects to progress to meet guaranteed standards.

You may also be involved in the review and closure of completed projects. Including the monitoring of project performance in relation to delivery against target costs. You will also be required to provide support to regional staff and others on the operation of Oracle Financials and project billing.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:


- Experience within a financial department.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.

- Knowledge of core financial systems and knowledge of ERP software.

- Ideally have a good understanding of financial and project management systems, including strong numerical and analytical skills.

- You should have excellent Excel and communication skills, be influential and be able to build good working relationships with both internal and external customers.

- Ideally be HND Accounting qualified, but this is not essential.

- Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems, processes and workflow technology.
