About the Role

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen, Inverness, Reading and Havant

Salary: £67,506 - £78,474 + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

As an IT Service Delivery Manager, we're looking for the right enthusiastic and motivated candidate to be able to act and prioritise independently as well as collaborate successfully with relevant peers and delegates to ensure we deliver upon our value focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Owning and developing customer satisfaction to help prioritise and drive improvements that make an actual positive impact.

- Assuming accountability for the performance and development of Thermals IT Service Portfolio and Strategy measured against the internal SLA and XLA.

- Ensuring alignment of internal support providers against relevant OLAs and 3rd party suppliers against relevant UCs underpinned by the Thermal IT SLA.

- Acting as an IT focal point to the Thermal business for operational IT services, escalations and capturing new demand to be assessed via our agile value streams.

- Lead and support the development of a team of analysts and technical engineers that underpin enabling services across all agile value streams.



What do I need?

Experience in the Energy/Utilities industry as well as agile and DevOps practices would provide a great advantage towards this role.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Significant experience of working in IT at a lead level with strong experience in IT Service Delivery and Service Management - aligned to a framework like ITIL.

- Diverse commercial, financial, contract and supplier management experience.

- Experience in delivering tangible IT improvements that deliver business value.

- Excellent effective internal and external stakeholder management including excellent communication, interpersonal, commercial, financial, contractual, influencing and negotiation skills.

- Proven adoption of agile methodologies
