We're looking for a number of pro-active enthusiastic individuals with an eye for detail to join our offshore development team as Project Managers and help us excel.

- You'll be a self-starter, comfortable operating in the uncertain landscape of early development projects, have an ability to "read the energy contest" and play to win.

- You'll lead some of SSE's early stage offshore development projects (predominantly in UK & Ireland, but also internationally), taking responsibility for all elements of the projects, refining them in order to secure seabed, submit consent applications and secure subsidy arrangements.

- Initially, you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, and as projects progress, you'll be responsible for a team of up to 10 direct and indirect reports, with management responsibility for significant external works packages delivered by multiple external contractors.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Degree qualification, with experience in Offshore and/or Renewables.

- An ability to lead and motivate a team of multi-disciplined individuals, setting clear goals and objectives.

- An ability to interpret and manage multiple projects and/or business requirements simultaneously.

- Self-motivation and a drive to achieve deadlines and goals.

- A "can do" attitude.

What's in it for you?

An excellent package with 34 days holiday entitlement, enhanced maternity/paternity leave, discounted healthcare, salary sacrifice car leasing and much more, view our full benefits package on our careers site.
