Owing to continued growth of our Leeds Engineering Centre, we have opportunities for JavaScript software engineers at a variety of experience levels. You will need to have experience using JavaScript or TypeScript in frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular and NodeJS. Our developers are responsible for delivering cutting-edge, optimised, high quality solutions that look and perform superbly across all platforms. This position will involve using the latest frameworks and libraries to deliver exceptional development services to our clients. You will work in Agile teams and have a voice in the direction of the software engineering and design.

We want you to be more than a developer. All our team members are challenged to use their expertise, experience, insight and desire to collaborate in order to clearly communicate technical information, functionality, and limitations to non-technical audiences, whilst influencing the overall implementation.

Security Clearance is required for this role, if you are not currently Security Cleared, you will need to be eligible for this and willing to go through the clearance process.

Key responsibilities:
  • Software development and optimisation
  • Conducting reviews of supplied requirements and specifications.
  • Providing accurate estimates of development effort required.
  • Reviewing design and code outputs from colleagues
  • Shared accountability for engineering best practice within the team.
  • Communicating with other team members, internal staff, and external clients.
  • Building relationships with stakeholders.


About you:
  • Good experience in JavaScript/TypeScript Development using a variety of tools, frameworks, libraries
  • Good understanding of source control and continuous delivery/integration pipelines
  • Familiarity with unit testing and mocking libraries
