Base Location: Oxford, Swindon, Melksham or Andover

Salary: £42,691 - £49,626 depending on skills and experience + car/cash allowance + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join the team and lead the delivery of exciting large capital projects.

In this role you will be:

- Leading the SSE team and working alongside multiple external contractors, to ensure project excellence is achieved and deliver on our promises.

- Managing the refinement and execution of large capital projects, ensuring the safe delivery to programme, cost and the necessary quality.

- Applying and adhering to our Safety Management Systems, best practices and the SSE Large Capital Projects (LCP) Governance processes.

- Demonstrating alignment with the SSE Safety Culture and core leadership values.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we will look for you to have:

- A strong engineering or construction knowledge including the safety and CDM regulations and a proven track record in the successful delivery of major projects.

- Experience of the reporting and management requirements that come with such a role and an understanding of the administration of the NEC3 suite of contracts or similar.

- An understanding of developing and managing integrated project programmes and experience of the tendering processes for the engagement and management of suppliers including multi-disciplinary contracts.

- The ability to understand Industry legislation, Health and Safety Legislation and SSEN Company policies and procedures and the ability to accurately forecast and control costs.

- SAP to 11kV SFT.
