Base Location: Perth or Havant

Salary: £42,691 - £49,626 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available

What is the Role?

The Operational Technology team provides a system design, project delivery and system support service for the Operational Applications that are used by our Network Management Centres to monitor and manage the Distribution Networks.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Working on small and large Operational Technology projects.

- Providing day to day support services for the Primary Operational Applications, such as the GE PowerOn Distribution Management System.

- Working with a range of internal customers as well as internal and external service providers and project managers.

- Providing 24/7 support as part of a rota for critical national infrastructure.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Passion for working with technology and people.

- Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in a Computing, Engineering or Science based discipline (or demonstrable practical experience in one of these areas).

- Knowledge of the principles of software and hardware design and a working knowledge of Linux, Windows and Database applications.

- Valid UK driving licence is required to enable travel to remote sites.
