About the Role

Base Location: Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK sites, which includes but is not limited to:- Glasgow, Perth, Reading or Havant.

Salary: £62,324 - £71,370 and a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The SSE End User Services teams have the responsibility to deliver secure, industry standard services to meet SSE device and digital workplace requirements, as part of this growing team we are looking for an experienced lead BA who can help set the standards for and lead a team of technical BAs to support the programme of projects and service requirements, the key responsibilities would be:

- Assesses impacts and oversees the design activities for business processes to accommodate the use of the solution(s).

- Presents complex business and technical concepts to all levels of the organisation relating to the EUS service.

- Identifies, assesses, evaluates and communicates business and IT risk.

- Plans, prioritises, manages, executes and evaluates analysis work across the team.

- Leads on any large/complex releases and ensures that all analysis activities progress in a timely manner, towards the common goal.



What do I need?

We are looking for an experienced person who is keen to set up and shape the role and BA EUS standards, and will develop the team and engage with them to understand and deliver the requirements from both the waterfall and agile deliverables.

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Previous experience of leading, setting direction and helping other analysts deliver as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

- Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge, and have experience from a similar lead support or development role in supporting business critical/complex systems in a large organisation.

- A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise own and others' workload within demanding schedules.

- Ability to work on and understand IT projects in the End User Computing / Digital Workplace.

- Excellent facilitation skills; ensures stakeholders reach agreement and develop effective work practices.
